9,765 PointsI use Facebook and other networks to promote my Videos and sites on Youtube and added Google Adsence to my videos and sites. The more frends I have the more effective the promotion is. Well it is not my primary way of earning but since I make videos and have sites why not get some money from them:)

3,536 PointsI haven't used any resources, it just makes sense that when ads or pages pop up on my timeline which I don't follow, it's because they've paid Facebook to be put into the circulation of advertisements that people see. Same with Google; if you do a random search, there will be a link on top that says 'Ad,' and it's because they've paid Google to always be the first result when the particular search is done. Google also posts ads everywhere on sub-platforms; on youtube, there's usually a large ad banner on the right and ads that play before and throughout the video. This is the main source of income, but I'm sure you could find much more through research
