Development Tools Git Basics Branches Managing Our Branches

How do we find out hierarchy of branches if we have multiple branches to find out which one is the parent or child?

If I have 3 branches A,B,C then to find out the master, I do

git branch master. and it will take me to the master say A, in this case.

But, how do I find out whether branch B and C are at equal level or a sub branch of another?
