How do you add an item from one array to another using .shift()?

I am trying to take out the first item of this list and add it to a new array.

var orderQuene = [item1, item2, item3]

script.js 
var orderQueue = ['1XT567437','1U7857317','1I9222528'];

orderQuene.shift();
index.html 
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>JavaScript Loops</title>
</head>
<body>

</body>

Well, you could store orderQuene.shift() in a variable and push() it into a new array.

But this would work to:

var secondArray = [orderQuene.shift()];
