How do you apply the character #??

suggestinator.py 
def suggest(product_idea):
    if product_idea < 3:
        raise ValueError ("It has to be more than 3 characters long!")
    return product_idea + "inator"

try:
     product_idea = input("What is the name of your product?  ")
except ValueError  as err:
    print( "Ohh no, it has to be more than 3 character long!!.. Try again...")
    print("{}".format(err))

If you mean character count use the length function len().
