How do you chain multiple if statements?

How do you chain multiple if statements?

2 Answers

You mean something like this?

if (x == 1) {
    one thing happens;
} else if (x == 2) {
    another thing happens;
} else if (x == 3) {
    yet another thing happens;
} else {
    something happens;
}

just add an if-statement inside an if-statement like this:

if(x == true) {
    if (y == false) {
        ...
    }
}
