How do you install python3 and pip3 for mac os?

Can someone please help me with installing python3 and pip3 on mac os?

I can't seem to get pip3 to work and all my attempts end up with me using pip on the default python 2.7 instead.

Hi,

have you already installed?

In mac OS you need to type python3 instead of python and pip3 instead of pip in your terminal to access python 3+ version.

If you're stuck or you have to install Python3 I suggest you this workshop here at Treehouse, which covers what you need. In less than 15 minutes you get your Python up and running!
