How do you maintain vertical space with responsive design? Are there tools to make it easier?

This seems like something you would spend a lot of time on only if the budget allows it and the website is a text based site.

You can set your line height to a responsive unit like em. Not terribly hard to fidget with.

I have not yet taken the typography course, but I am wondering why you couldn't use padding and borders to maintain the vertical space. Just use the top and bottom settings.

I also got to thinking a bit about this. You could use Sass to simplify your end of the coding process.
