Python

How do you make a python program restart itself?

I plan on putting it in a function

If you are calling the program using python program_name, then you can use the construct:

def main():
    # put your code here

if __name__ == '__main__':
    main()

To restart you code, you can call main() from anywhere within your program.

Post back if you have more questions. Good luck!!

Hey James, and obvious way to do it would be to simply put the entire program inside a function. Then when you want to relaunch it, simply run the function. Hope this helps!
