How do you use subscripting to access an element in an array?

I never learned subscripting yet.

data_collections.swift
var shoppingList : [String] = ["toothpaste", "bread", "eggs"]

var cart = shoppingList(1)

var cart = shoppingList[1]

Use [] instead of ().

Also, worth knowing is that the use of [] subscripting to access an element in an array is almost universal in all other languages, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java ... etc.

Thanks. Hey, I might be wrong but are you the one talked on Youtube about your experience in Engineering Science?
