25,493 PointsHow does Guil get a small circle to focus onto his cursor?
This isn't specific to this video, but I am wondering how Guil makes a circle appear around his cursor and everything else darken. Any ideas are appreciated

5,013 PointsI can't be sure 100%, but it's possible this is just a special effect they put into the video to help highlight what he's talking about. I don't believe this is something Guil himself is doing while he records. I could be wrong though!

25,493 PointsI think it is something that Guil does while he records; it wouldn't make sense to go back and edit the video just for emphasis…

5,013 PointsWell, every video goes through editing and post-production before it goes live online, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it as a possibility. Have you tried searching for cursor highlight tools online?
EDIT: A quick look on Google revealed http://www.pointerfocus.com/ . I'm sure there are probably some other things like it around.

25,493 PointsI wasn't dismissing it; I was just saying, having some video editing experience myself, that it seemed unlikely. Sorry if I seemed rude.

5,013 PointsIt's okay! You weren't rude at all. Take a look at the link I posted above, it might help you.

25,493 PointsI saw it. That answers my question; you use an external program. If you could post that as an answer below, I will mark it as best.
