Hi Abeer,

I am still quite new to Android myself and haven't yet travelled down that road. All of my database related work has been focused on an online solution like using PHP and MySQL to have restful web services to supply data to the app in say JSON format.

I found Ben Jakuben's course on 'Stormy' the weather app to be quite helpful in understanding data and utilising this in views, so that may be a good place for you to start.

Have a bit of a look around the web, there are a lot of sites like this one.
