How is my code wrong this time ... Please you can help a lot by explaining

I just need an explanation of my error

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    laps = 0

    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining,**kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining

        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(length):
        self.lap += 1
        self.fuel_remaining -= length * 0.125

1 Answer

You need to pass self to run_lap

def run_lap(self, length):

and in run_lap you are incrementing

self.lap += 1

It should be

self.laps +=1
