How long before learning C# and .NET

Hey guys. Newbie here.

I'm a novice at HTML and CSS (been practicing for 3 months)

I was talking to one of my recruiter friends who recruits web devs and he told me to learn C# and .NET. How long do you think it will take me to learn those languages fairly decent to land a job?

I am a member of Lynda and Treehouse is superior to it in every way. I wish they would teach these courses asap.

This would allow me to develop my skills further.
