My apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have heard of some intermittent Workspace issues for some students and team is investigating. For now, I'd recommend closing all instances of the Workspace and leaving it closed for 10-15 minutes, then trying again. This should reset it and open as expected.
As an alternative, I may recommend saving that Workspace locally to your machine and working on it with an offline text editor. This will guarantee you always have a copy of this project and access to it if Workspaces is acting wonky.
