how long it does take to create wordpress theme ?

I want to create wordpress theme from scratch. I want to know how long does it take to create it including design.

There's really no single answer to that question because it depends on the complexity of the design and the theme. Most professionally offered themes tend to have a lot of features to make them more attractive to potential purchasers. I would assume in most instances these themes take more time to design and develop than a single page website theme would, for example.
