How many steps do you take?

Hey guys this is not a help me question I just want to know how many steps do you guys do on TreeHouse every day? It's just a question out of curiosity.

As many as I want to. Seriously, its not about getting points, steps or badges, Its about coding and being able to retain that knowledge. I would say go at "your" pace, and if you can retain the info move forward.

Like Jacob Mishkin said, it's definitely about learning and not points/steps. I personally find myself going through phases of doing a lot of treehouse at one time then learning from other sources and trying to apply what I've learned to projects. The great thing about treehouse is that you can change your pace to fit what you need!

No don't take that the wrong way I don't care about steps either I just really enjoy coding. It's just because I get an email everyday from treehouse about the steps of today so I thought I would ask :) since starting this course I found myself learning for 6 hours a day it was just out of curiosity since I kept getting the emails. Thanks for the reply.

6 hours a day is awesome! The email you get from Treehouse is just a reminder of what you "should" do for that day. I think for some people its a very positive thing for others maybe not. It sounds like you're going full steam ahead. Right on!

When you guys watch these videos and do some quiz it's good but how do you advance your knowledge and what are you doing for it.I am going to be future programmer.

you advance quite frankly by messing up and figuring out what you did wrong. The way to advance is to write code every day. Build something small and add to it. Thats really the only way to advance is to do it.

I am beginner and learning CSS , HTML and JavaScript I think I have to know something to to creat something . I have studied html and some CSS stuff I can edit something's but I can't write code myself .

As I said earlier, start small, and build it up or, "level up" If you have studied html and css, you can do a lot. You can start out by creating a nav bar, and then create a nav that that at a certain break point becomes a button, with JS. You can also build layouts with css. Try creating a 3 column layout with three square divs. Like I said, Start small and build on it. There is a lot to learn, but if you enjoy learning and building things you're in the right place.

a create resource to see code in action is codepen

I highly recommend you looking at this site.
