How might a novice like myself have known that "gradient' was not recognizable, but "linear-gradient" is?

I only understand what I have gathered through a few Treehouse courses on CSS (complete novice), but using DevTools looks to be a much more intimidating and difficult than anything I've seen previously. I was lost right out of the gate upon seeing the challenge. Is there a "debugging CSS for dummies?" or was this supposed to be that course and I'm just even worse than I thought? lol

Hi Waylon Harrison which course/workshop are you currently working on? There is definitely content for debugging CSS that includes using DevTools, which you can find here
