I am currently at university studying Web Design and Development and I just finished my first year. Additionally, I have been building my portfolio and I'm still learning on the Front-end Development Track. Once I am comfortable with Front-end, I will learning PHP.
In the early stages, I only did HTML and CSS for fun but after working on a few projects at Uni, I realised I actually enjoy coding particularly JavaScript and I'm starting to take it seriously.
So out of curiosity, I am wondering, how much can an average Web Developer earn in London?

6,013 PointsAverage for a developer would be around 43,000 quid yearly, or around $61,000 USD. Which is like 14,000 more quid than a designer would make. I'd say if you're into it, go for it.

He was pretty good but didn't have a whole lot of experience at the time having shifted career path from the Marketing sector.
