4,110 PointsHow much should I know before trying to find a job?
Hello,
I have been on and off treehouse for over a year now due to circumstances in the real world. But I have the time to take this seriously now and I want to pursue a career in it. I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations as to what languages I should have an understanding of before trying to find work.
Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't really find anything.

2,273 PointsPersonally I think that call comes down to you. If you know everything required to meet the specification on a job advert thats great, but your own confidence is going to tell you whether you would feel confident or feel slightly out of your depth.
The flip side of this though is you are only going to gain confidence by doing. As long as you initially feel comfortable with taking on the job, thats when the real learning will begin, much like driving a car.
