How should I know?

Hello All, I'm just starting out with the basic HTML course. Maybe I'm just plain stupid, but I find some of this really confusing. Writing the code is easy, nothing to it. It's trying to follow along in work spaces and navigate between the demo videos and work spaces that has me all twisted up. Can someone please explain to me how I can get the code from the demo videos into work spaces? I've tried copy and paste and that doesn't work for me. Further, I can't seem to view the demo video and have work spaces open so that I can copy the code. Or am I just supposed to remember the code? If that's the case I'm completely screwed because that just ain't gonna happen. Anybody?

Thanks, Les

This unlike most websites that teach html/css/javascript, makes you do most of the legwork. Ive used codecademy and they seem to hold your hand a little bit more. Treehouse is more of a website to further develop coding skills.

Hi Les, I'm not sure I understand your question completely- but I resize my workspace and browser windows so I can type the code and watch along at the same time. Sometimes I have to pause the video to catch up. I haven't experienced any issue with having both the workspace and the video playing at the same time, so I'm afraid I can't help you there.
