4,009 PointsHow to Add Custom Menus in Wordpress
Early days....but hope this doesn’t sound too naïve!
I have just started ‘How to Make a Website Using Wordpress’ and have just completed the lesson ‘How to Make Custom Menus’. In the lesson it state you have to ASSIGN the Footer Menu (function) to the Main Menu - for the menu to show up in the footer. However in my example the custom footer menu appears by default - regardless of whether I assign it or not!.....has anyone else experienced this?

Treehouse Guest TeacherHi, this may depend on the theme you're doing whether something gets set automatically or not, but it's best practice to manually set it.
