You need to use markdown which at first can be daunting but's it's quite easy to use once you get into it, to add an image you would use markdown like the below example.
The exclamation mark or bang as it's know in development defines the image, the square brackets contain the ALT text and the parenthesis hold the url to the image you want to add to the page.
