change #wrapper { max-width: 940 px; margin: 0 auto; } to

wrapper {

max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto; }

For some reason my first answer did not display properly. It dropped the #id prefix on the second wrapper selector. Any way, try removing the space (' ') between 940 and px. "940 px;" needs to be "940px;". This worked for me.

wrapper {

max-width: 940 px; margin: 0 auto; } becomes #wrapper { max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto; }
