How to change color of nav elements?

I had set the color of my nav text to be the same color as my header and when i resize the window so the nav elements float next to the logo, they disappear. They are still there because when I hover over them they change colors, so they aren't gone but they blend into the background since the background and the text are the same color. I have been trying to change the color of my nav elements when the page is above 660px but it does't seem to work. I'm not sure what else to try.

Here's my code >>>> https://w.trhou.se/ljhvxr6m8e

Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

I don't see what you are seeing. The nav elements are distinguishable, They are yellow/mustard on full screen, then they are salmon within a yellow/mustard bar for mobile.

Am I wrong?
