how to change the return type of a function?

I am still a beginner and I can"t really understand how to change the parameters of a function .

Hey Mostafa,

Are you referring to the following code challenge :

Implement a function named "addTwo" that returns the sum of two floats. The function will accept two float numbers as arguments. It should add the two arguments together, and return the result. (No need to write the main function. Just write out the implementation for the addTwo function.)

or are you talking in general?

To set the return type of a function, you simply state it before the name and parameters of the function, like this:

returnType functionName (Parameters) {
    return something
}

Where "returnType" is, you place whatever it is you're returning (int, float, etc).
