How to code graphics from scratch

I want to known what language or course on tree house will teach me to code graphics from the ground up. I thought that it was C#, but when I started taking the unity game development course all of the graphics were imported. :( I kind of wanted to make my own graphics, can you please help guide me, Thanks!

In unity and other game engines the 3D assets are created in animation and modeling software. Treehouse has a few courses to do just that using the software Maya. I'm not sure how in depth they are but you'll al least get a good overview of the process. Once you develope your 3D models you can import them into unity for your game. If you want a more thorough course on 2D/3D modeling and using them in Unity Udemy has several courses on game dev for about $10 each.

Thank-you for your help, I will try that!
