how to correct flaws in ruby on rails application?

After completing the application, there are still several flaws, such as: 1) a user being able to post as someone else. 2) Someone that is not logged in can delete statuses. While there are others, these two are some major flaws I would really like to fix, but have been stuck for a long time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oops, never mind, I am starting to see where this might get fixed in the adding social feature lessons.
