Hi Coty,

Creating a border in CSS is very simple:

.main-pg {
  border: 2px solid brown;
}

OR

  .main-pg {
border-bottom/top/left/right 
}

The "border" property

requires 3 values to be inputted to work properly.

  • px value (border width)
  • border style (solid, dotted, dashed, etc..)
  • color (black, yellow, #441144, etc...)

Note that this in the code snippet I wrote about this is the shorthand for the border property.

It is also possible to input each property on a new line. The order in which you input the properties for the shorthand border propery don't matter. but I recommend (width(px) style color)
