How to create sub categories

Hi Folks,

Hope you can help with some suggestions,

What you reckon would be the best way to create sub categories in an animal website, see below link:

http://whf.fitzrovia.digital/cats/

For instance the client would like to create sub species of cats, so that users could more easily navigate them instead of scrolling too much, as now they're uploading a lot of cats.

Please let me know!

Thanks!

Cats would simply be a parent category. Just add a new category and select "cats" as the parent. Then you may need to customize your theme depending on how you want to display that data.

Yep, that's what I think would be the tricky part, though shouldn't be extremely difficult, will be back in touch should I need more help.
