iOS Object-Oriented Swift Inheritance What is Inheritance?

how to create the instance of a class ???

this is my code

Button.swift
class Button {
  var width: Double
  var height: Double

  init(width:Double, height:Double){
    self.width = width
    self.height = height
  }
}

class RoundButton : Button {

var cornerRadius = 5.0
}

var rounded = RoundButton()

Hi,

You're nearly there. To create the instance call the Class with the initialiser's parameters:

var rounded = RoundButton(width: 5, height: 5)

That should work.

I copied and pasted this and it says it is wrong.. I think something is glitching because I typed this in prior to looking and when I saw that this was the correct response I wanted to hit my computer for making me so frustrated

What have you got on your screen? If you can post your code, I can have a look to see what's up.

Steve.
