How to define number

Hello,

I'm not sure if I'm defining my number variable correctly. Does python recognize it is an argument?

even.py
def even_odd(number):
  if (number%2) == int:
    return(True)
  else:
    return(False)

Hi Jacob,

You want to compare number % 2 to zero, that means that number divided by 2 has no remainder, i.e. it is even:

code.py
def even_odd(number):
  if (number % 2) == 0:
    return True
  else:
    return False

I hope that makes sense,

Steve.
