Hi.
Does anyone know please how to delete an icon? I dragged a Twitter icon to my mockup page by mistake but I can't delete it unless I trash the whole mockup. I can't select the Twitter icon because Balsamiq won't let me select it.

27,008 PointsMaybe it's locked to a group of items? In which case you have to unlock the whole group and then delete the twitter icon then lock them again. I'm assuming you've already tried clicking and then pressing delete/backspace.

I wouldn't know if it's locked to a group, as Balsamiq is completely new to me. And yes, I have tried clicking and then pressing Delete or Backspace. I can select the Facebook square and the Twitter square but not the plain Twitter icon. Since I'm so near the end of the course (only one video and one quiz left), should I ignore this and not worry too much about it?

27,008 PointsNo worries, this isn't too important, it's just a concept that you need to learn.
So you can select the facebook and twitter squares together but not the twitter icon separately? Or is there a twitter square that you can select but another twitter icon that you can't? If it's yes to the former question then it's definitely locked together, that means you can manoeuvre the icons together in a group. You have to right click on either of them, then somewhere in the popup there will be the unlock (2) items.
And definitely ignore this if its causing you too much of a headache, as long as you got the general concept of the design process then that's whats important. I use Balsamiq and then also physically draw afterwards to write down my techniques/plan of attack for each component of the site.

33,235 PointsI can select any of the other icons individually except the plain Twitter icon, which I'm now sure isn't part of a group. I can also select other icons as a group. It's just the one icon that Balsamiq seems to overlook.

33,235 PointsHi Valeshan. I've just figured out why I couldn't select that icon. It was locked. I managed to unlock the icon and delete it. It's sorted now.
