How to echo if statement little stuck help please

Stuck help please

index.php
<?php

$name = "Mike";
if ( name == Hi  )
?>

1 Answer

<?php
$name = "Mike";
if($name == "Mike") {
echo 'Hi!';
}
?>

What we are doing is setting the variable $name to the value of Mike. Then within our IF statement we are checking, using the == equality operator to see if Mike is the value of $name. If it is, then we echo Hi!.
