how to efficiently study on treehouse?

Hello guys,

Sometimes am having troubles remembering what i have learned on treehouse. would not it be effective to watch the video till the end and then try to code, what was taught in the video? do you code simultanously as the mentor codes or do you code after the video is finished? btw i am on php track.

P.S feel free to share your opinions about best and efficeint methods of studying from treehouse.

Well I think that depends on how much information you get, for example (I know it takes more time to advance) I watch the video, pause, write code, test code and continue. Also I try to do it using different words or numbers for variables.

Everyone tends to learn differently, but a common approach is:

First, just watch the video, get a high level understanding of what is going on.

Second, watch the video and pause at it goes to write the code.

Third, create your own project based on the topics covered in that segment in the course.
