If you want to exit your Java program, you could use the exit method: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/lang/System.html#exit(int)

Alternatively, your program will also exit when your main method returns (and there is no non-daemon threads running, though this is more advanced and you probably shouldn't need to worry about that right now)
