How to fix Install bundler and rails error?

In a terminal:

gem install bundler (returns error- please see description below...)

ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::FilePermissionError) You don't have write permissions for the /Library/Ruby/Gems/2.0.0 directory.

you can run sudo gem install bundler. It will prompt you for a password and you will be on your way.

upon watching the video I came across extra setup steps that weren't included in the teacher notes section. this enabled me to successfully run gem install bundler without issue.
