How to get more code practice?

Hi all! Recently I've been feeling like my life would be more beneficial with some extra code practice. I've been working on JS, Java, and SQL. The challenges, tasks, and code practices are phenomenal. I would, however, like to get some practice outside of the Treehouse Island. First off, I need to find a good text editor to work with for Java, and or Web design. I have IntelliJ, but I can find it difficult to use at times. A while back, I used Eclipse and I really like it. Is this a good editor to use? I had a lot of trouble setting up Eclipse, so if this is a good choice, is there like a Wiki, or video I could use to help set it up? Thank you for your time!

Bonfire challenges are really tough, I mean at least for me + you can build projects + a certificate is always nice ;)
