Hi Ronald! If you've downloaded python from python.org, i believe pip also comes with the package. To figure out whether you have pip you need to open the terminal and execute following:

pip3

Most likely, that's you case, however you might also try:

pip

If you don't have it, the output will look something like:

-bash: pip3: command not found

Otherwise, it will return some instructions on how to use pip. In that case, all you need to install is:

sudo pip3 install pytz

Pip is a package manager, it can download and install extra packages for python.

Thanks! but whats the difference between pip & pip3?

Ronald,

Python 3 is obviously python 2 continuation, however, they are not fully compatible. Therefore python.org still distributes both versions. And there is a package manager Pip for each of them. If you are learning python now there is no need to have python2
