How to keep the squares in proportions at all times?

I know there is tons of other problems, but right now i just need to know how to get the squares to keep their proportions at any size, which in ideal size is around "345x335px".

Here is the fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/baardkolstad/uFrXZ/

I was looking at your code and it's a bit all over the place. In any case - It seems there is a major problem when you hit around tablet size with the media query. Would you mind if I take the code and fix it up and then send it to you to compare? :D

I didn't see your code, but perhaps instead of using pixels try percentages..
