How to make a div increase it's height from the top in CSS

EDIT: Hi, I want to make my div to increase it's height from the top not from the bottom because I am using a textarea inside the div so I created a function that... I found the solution :)

I think you might be wanting some padding but I'm not sure I am fully understanding the question. Maybe make a Quickcast and put the link along with some markup to get a better handle on your question.
