How to make a touch make an effect ?Objective-C

Hi,

So I'm wondering , how to make an feature like Fruit ninja . I know sort of how it should look with the touch start middle end i guess i hope so but how could i make when i touch , it appears e.g. a green circle.

So in other words, i touch on black screen and when i put my finger on , it makes a green circle and track my finger with that green circle.

Anyone have an idea?

Depends if you want to make a game or a app. If you're making a game with SpriteKit that is easy.

Well, i want to make a game .

e.g you slash the finger and it makes this spade http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CXFslFVfOeo/Udz72T0waiI/AAAAAAAAaFs/tsj_2w64vX8/s1600/Fruit+Ninja+HD+For+PC-01.png .

Of course i don't mean effects but like a circle to track it for learning purposes . So i mean i put finger in and under is a green circle that track my finger and move with it and when i take it off it goes away.
