How to make custom keyboards in iOS 8

Hey guys, I was wondering how I could create custom keyboards for ios 8. I saw that you could add extensions for it, but would like guidance on this.

Apple's App Extension Programming Guide has a section on creating custom keyboards. It features a short tutorial on getting you started with custom keyboards and also guidelines you should follow when creating one.

There are also a couple of tutorials available on that topic.
