8,156 PointsHow to parse data in JSON format?
Here is the directions for this code challenge I'm working on: The data in the file 'data.json' has been loaded into a JSONObject named 'jsonData'. Using 'data.json' as your guide, create String variables named 'name', 'publisher', and 'language' and set them to the appropriate values from 'data.json' using the 'jsonData' object.
I am not sure where I'm going wrong and I have tried several different ways and this is as close to what I learned from the corresponding video. I'm getting a compile error with a "^" pointing to the "new" in my JSONObject.
JSONObject jsonData = new JSONObject(jsonData);
String name = jsonData.getString("name");
String publisher = jsonData.getString("publisher");
String language = jsonData.getString("language");
