How to parse this string of JSON, since it has extra text at the beginning

I'm using this video to learn how to create a virtual stock trading app. When I call the JSON from this yahoo url it starts with

"YAHOO.Finance.SymbolSuggest.ssCallback(" and ends with a ")"

I'm actually using swift to code the app but knowing how to do it in objective-c would be great too.

this is JSONP result (notice the P). Look up how to handle JSONP data.
