How to post a snapshot onto a question

A moderator has asked me to provide a screenshot of my work for a question I have but I quite frankly don't know how to provide one! Thank you

Hi Alex,

If you're using Treehouse's Workspaces, then it's as easy as clicking the camera icon in the upper-right corner of the workspace, which creates a snapshot of the workspace. Once that is done, you will be provided a URL that can be shared in the Community and allows others to see your Workspace.

If you're using your own local development, it's a tad more complex. You cannot actually post a screenshot or picture in the community, but you can post a URL reference to the image once it's hosted on a 3rd party image hosting site like imgur or any of the many others (just google image hosting). You will need to sign up for the site though.

If it's not much code, you can just copy/paste it into your question. Just make sure you use proper Markdown so the code is readable. You can reference the Markdown Cheatsheet, or have a look at this post.

I hope this helps. :) :dizzy:
