How to proceed through the tracks?

I wanted to know that recommended path for completing the web designer track. I first started with the complete you own website since it was the first item in the track. I then proceeded to the next item which is html deep dive but after completing the first project, the auto email from Nick recommends starting the interactive web site project. So I am a little confused as to how I should proceed through the tracks, top to bottom?

The interactive projects will give you a taste of HTML, CSS, and Javascript but if you really want to get a better understanding of how they each work and why certain things happen or don't happen then I would recommend the deep dives. Personally, I am working on completing all the deep dives before doing the projects. I want to have an understanding of the material before launching into it. Other people might want to try it another way. All depends on what works best for you.

Pick one and stick to it or take two at once if you can focus that way. The emails are more marketing based than they have anything to do with your progress, finish one thing then move on, or don't it's all what works for you

The deep dives definitely have more meat to them, but just be mindful as to where you are on your "track", there's hours of content here and it's very easy to get distracted. But then again it all ties together... CSS hTml jquery php... Your going to need it all

I've done them roughly in the order in which they are presented. I think I'd recommend doing them that way. If you jump from Build a Simple Website to Responsive to Interactive without doing the other things, you will be really lost.

Even after having done the deep dives, parts of the more advanced courses are hard to grasp. Some of the Deep Dives are long and complex (especially the CSS deep dive), but just retain what you can from them. I foresee me needing to do some of the deep dives again just to pick up more parts of them.
