If you follow through the How to Make a Website course and look through the section for Sharing a Website this will go through the steps for deploying it to a live environment.

1,504 PointsFind a hosting provider if you have not already & sign up. If your website does not have a lot of server side code & does not use MySQL/Database, you could get a simple hosting.
Next you need a domain for your website & you need to purchase it. Most hosting websites offer this.
Once you sign up for hosting & you have your domain, just upload your website contents to public_html folder and access your domain.

If you want to publish a site you need a web server. Either from your computer (installing apache will be a pain in the ass if you don't have exp with these thing) or you can check this site (you get a discount if you are a Treehouse Student) :
webhostingforstudent -> it's about 25$ a year
Or you can check for other web hosts on Google.
