4,683 PointsHow to rate a video on Treehouse
I just watched a video here on Treehouse that I think was outstanding and should be recognized. I might be wrong but believe I saw an option to rate a video at one point, but when I go back to the video I see no such option.
What Is the best way to bring attention to specific noteworthy videos or challenges on Treehouse?

Once the video is over, a bar will appear at the bottom of the video player's screen. On the left side, there will be two text buttons: one to replay and one to "rate this video."

44,957 PointsWait what? All I see is "Get Help," "Next Step" and "Rewatch Video;" There's no bar at the bottom of the video player with two text buttons on the left side...

That sounds kind of like what the videos looked like before the recent revamp of the site. Weird. Maybe Kyle Meyer can shed some light on this?
At the end of the video, the video player screen shows near the center -- "Keep up the Momentum" or "You've reached your goal"
At the bottom of the video player, the progress bar disappears and is replaced with 2 text buttons on the left ("Replay" and "Rate this Video") and two on the right ("Ask For Help" and "Continue"). If this isn't what you are seeing, maybe shoot off an email to the Support Team, cuz I'm stumped. Sorry. :(

Maybe Treehouse is running some kind of A/B Testing.

Treehouse Moderator 145,863 PointsThat's what I used to see... until a few weeks ago.
I don't know what to say?
Send Support the question. Maybe the new design hasn't been rolled out for everyone, or like you said, some sort of Testing.

4,683 PointsThanks Jason. I watched the video in question once again and I found the option to rate the video this time around.
As a sidenote: I find that the best videos are the ones I have watched more than once, made some notes about and had me go to workbench to play around with the concepts on my own afterwards. I believe it is not really the immediate impression but rather the lingering effect that reveals the value of a video. Maybe there is a better way to rate videos but I am not sure how that interaction would look like. Something for an UX designer to ponder maybe.
Anyway thanks again for the pointer.
