How to remove link underlines in normalize.css?

I want to add the removal off link underlines to my normalize.css file. I have used the usual code for removing underlines from links which normally works. When I apply it in the normalize stylesheet it does not work. Tried these:

Remove default link underline

a:link { text-decoration: none; }

a:-webkit-any-link { text-decoration: none; }

Hi Stephanie:

I think this should do the trick

a {
   text-decoration: none;
}

also make sure to target states of the link, so a:visited, a:hover, a:visited:hover, etc

Hope it helps, Max
