How to remove MusicMachine Play music notification?

I've been simulating on my own Android phone, so I haven't been able to get the notification to disappear yet once its there. I'm trying something along the lines of:

mNotificationManager.cancel(NOTIFICATION_ID);

As shown in the next video.
